Aimless Wanderings...

I was wandering about aimlessly around the house today morning, in search of the true meaning of life (I'm lying.... couldn't think of a proper opening sentence), when I spotted a bottle of 'some-new-pharmaceutical-preparation' in my room. I'd like to assume that one of my parents left it there. (I hate it when things magically appear in my room without valid justification. Believe it or not, they quite often do.)

Anyway, the 'some-new-pharmaceutical-preparation' in my room happened to be colostrum tablets. And that too, strawberry flavoured.

It said:
Each Chewable tablet contains:
Colostrum : 300mg
Protein: 245mg
Total immunoglobulins: 60mg
Calcium: 4.5mg
Lactoferrin: 490 micro g.

"New Life Colostrum is 100% pure New Zealand colostrum. Certified to be from healthy, pasture-fed, pesticide, hormone and antibiotic-free New Zealand dairy cows."
(cooool..aa toh phoren gai nu maal che)

It had always been my cherished childhood dream to taste 300 mg of strawberry flavoured Kiwi cow colostrum. And here it was - right in my hands!

Convinced that none of the contents/description on the pack sounded fatal, I promptly unscrewed the cap, pierced the tin-foil covering with a pen, took out a colostrum tablet and popped it into my mouth - and thus a childhood dream was fullfilled.

I then continued wandering about aimlessly around the house, in search of the true meaning of life. (i'm lying.... couldn't think of a proper closing sentence either), but hey- atleast now i have some idea of how life's first food might have tasted like.

-Cheers.
