Calvin and Hobbes - A Tribute (I)

I am a HUGE fan of Calvin and Hobbes. According to me, Calvin and Hobbes is one of the best comic strips to have been drawn. Ever. I am a staunch admirer of Bill Watterson, it's creator. He has managed to guide us through the mind of an extremely intelligent, exceedingly naughty 6 year old, who has a fascinating hyperactive imagination. Through a simple comic strip, he effectively potrays, in his unique style, calvin's interaction with his parents, teachers, classmates, babysitter and most importantly his interaction with his only true friend - his stuffed tiger, Hobbes.
Simple, funny, witty, insightful, tongue-in-cheek and very sweet. I thought i'd give my own little tribute to Mr. Watterson by regularly posting some of his best, and some of my favourite ones here every now and then. Hope you folks enjoy reading C&H as much as i do.
(I loved this one for Calvin's dad's innovative reply. Funny.)
P.S: If You didn't already know, Calvin and Hobbes is a daily strip in our very own mumbai mid-day newspaper. So if you haven't read it yet, i recommend you do give it a try, and marvel at the mind of Calvin and his creator.

hey!great job shiva!indeed a very innovative way to broadcast ur cute funny thoughts...very interesting...very witty...n fun to read.i liked the white background...m quite satisfied by d way it looks...nice presentation.ur site is just d way i expected it to b..shiva style....i liked almost everything..i liked this joke,the feet thing..n d mulberry tree too.looking forward to read more interesting stuff on ur site d next time i visit...so keep it updated. well done shiva!!!....so now u can make many many people laugh even without meetin or talkin to them...isnt that great.keep it up!!!!
@ spriha : Thanks for commenting. I will be experimenting with better backgrounds and templates for my page after surg exam is over. And yeah the time i've kept on this site is not IST, but i've set it to +10 GMT to confuse people. :-)

hmmmm....its been ages literally since i last read any comic strip...even my fav garfield...let alone calvin n hobbes...but yes it does seem a whole lot of fun!!..i agree wid spree u need 2 desperately pep up d site template...helll i didn kno dis came in mid de!...how ignorant of me!...all in all good one!
hey shiva good try...u have really been working hard...but u need to improve lot..there r few suggestions:
1)where r GOSSIPS i miss them???
2)Let it b more pictorial other than u speakin..i think so u can display pictures of nature(birds & sky)...i doubt if u have????
3)what about coll stuffs, nothin about any of ur girlfriends???? JUST KIDDIN

FINALLY I DID IT! ON 26/07/2005 AT 4 AM IN THE MORNING, I AM DOING NOTHING ELSE BUT CHECKING YOUR SITE.....OR BLOG... OR WHATEVER YOU CALL IT. GOOD JOB YAAR! AND NO NEED TO CLOSE IT DOWN NOW.... SINCE I AM GOING TO VISIT IT EVERYDAY NOW. SHIT!!! TYPING IS SO DIFFICULT FOR ME... SO DONT EVEN TRY TO IMAGINE HOW MUCH TIME IT TOOK FOR ME TO TYPE THIS MUCH. EVEN I LIKE CALVIN AND HOBBES.
